 Candy Olson: Area Five
I’m running for Redlands Unified School District school board Trustee Area 5 because someone needs to stand to protect the children, support the parents, and empower our teachers. I am a Christian, a wife, mother to 5 kids, and an RN. For nearly three years now, I’ve unsuccessfully made pleas to the RUSD board regarding decisions and practices I felt were in the students’ best interest. I’ve come to realize that in order to actually put into place sound policies and procedures to protect children, I needed to run for office myself. I am the leader of the Redlands chapter of S B County Patriots and the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization Awaken Redlands—a non-partisan group focused on preserving traditional values in our city and schools.

Lawrence Hebron: Area Three

Lawrence Paul Hebron draws on a diverse range of experiences to add depth and insight to his works and writings. The son of a bricklayer, he worked his way up from being a menial laborer in construction to the president of a corporation. He is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar who has Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He served as a tank officer in the United States Marine Corps. He has founded and directed both private businesses and public organizations. Hebron also has served as a teacher and church leader. Married with two daughters, Mr. Hebron is a committed Christian and Patriot — themes which are prominent in his writings. His books include: Solutions: Guidebook for Rebuilding America the Great; AR2: Handbook for the Second American Revolution; The Christian Patriot’s Primer on Separation of Church and State ; Islam Exposed: What You Need to Know About the World’s Most Dangerous Religion In the Beginning: Do You Remember Your First Conversation with God? ; AR2 Squared

Jeannette Wilson: Area Four

I am happily married to a U.S.M.C. veteran and have one daughter. I have been married for 44 years. My granddaughter underwent several years of education at RUSD. I am a soon-to-be great grandma! In my leisure time I enjoy caring for numerous pets, tending to injured birds, creating gifts and home decor and spending quality time with family and friends. Although retired, I continue to be an advocate for children and families as I contribute many hours of volunteer work helping to organize healthy and safe events for families in our local community. I love God, my family, and serving others. As a social worker, I have spent many years advocating for those in need and developing services and programs to meet those needs of students, foster youth, foster parents, veterans and caregivers. I am now retired and have the time and committed drive to bring this extensive experience and passion to the RUSD School.
