Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP)

The Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP) is one of the National Federation of Republican Women’s oldest programs.  It was established in 1961 to honor and memorialize the former Republican First Lady.  It was created to help encourage and foster Republican philosophies and ideologies through the donation of books to libraries, schools, and hospitals while supporting literacy. Redlands Republican Women conducts this program annually in the winter to benefit local institutions in our wonderful town of Redlands and the surrounding areas which we serve.
